Migrating ACCESS to a live system
My company currently has a large Access db and I have been asked to investigate making it a Live system on the Net. It would be accessible to all our clients who would enter orders, view current order and invoice from it among other things. The main order table gets very large, in the order of about 50000 records. As they want to keep costs down, my initial thoughts are having a MySQL backend on a web based Server and create an Access frontend.
Does anyone have any recommendations or comments on this idea. All comments very welcome.
