OK, Data Import tool in dbForge Studio is a third party tool :-)

It
1) only runs on windows
2) is commercial and for free you only get "express", presumably with very limited functionality

The question was: what happened to the solutions that belong(ed) to the mysql-project? I have used working tools in the past, so I know they used to exist, and now they don't.

What happened???
