From what I gathered, MT has been mostly tested with Access XP/2003 and as such would recommend those versions for migration.

The way I figure you'll probably want most of what you need in the back-end, albeit not necessarely all. Either way you can proceed to the conversion in steps... First changing the back-end, then transferring the data into the back-end. Heck, for all I know maybe it wouldn't make sense to send all the data into the back-end (For example I have descriptive table referencing fields in the back-end table... though they could be stored on the server I don't see why I should do that, since all it means is that my ODBC request would return a string instead of a byte and would require more network usage).
