Database doesn't work after copying to new mysql install
Hello. I am using MySQL for hosting a forum (via WAMP server) and today I reinstalled my entire system. I only kept the folder of my database through the format (..\mysql\data\mydatabase) and once I reinstalled wamp server on the new system and got the mysql service working, I pasted the folder back in the data folder of mysql. However, if I now open the database with mysql administrator, no tables appear in it any more, and the database appears like an empty schemata whereas the default mysql database still shows its tables when selected.
Anyone know what I can do please? Any advice would help greatly. I don't have any other backup than the copied folder of the database, and don't wish to loose the entire forum :( Thanks.
