Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. I tested this by creating two databases - each with their own user. Each database has a single table. But after a third MERGE-table takes one table from the first database and another table from the second database, and combines in the second database, the user who should only have access to the second database, also has all (!) privileges on the first table in the first database.
It seems to me the MERGE-engine is bypassing all security.
