Server always crashes when editing stored proc

Hi All,

I've been using MySQL 4 for ages and have quite a large site running on it. I want to start using stored procedures though so I'm looking at version 5.

I can create a stored procedure through MySQL Administrator, but when I try to edit it again, I always get an error, the MySQL Service stops, and I of course lose my connection to the database. I then have to re-start the service.

I've tried this on my home PC, and also on a dedicated Windows 2003 server.

Why does this happen?
