thanks for your thoughts.
About the reference guide, there is a HTML page as well (accessible from the project's homepage) which is easy
to search.
Regarding a registry, I have already an infrastructure in place (it is in the CVS tree, with the docs, soon to be published as an article). Basically, I would use to register the same system I am using to record the syntax and to generate the documentation. This system will force developers to release docs, because without docs your routines would not
be recognized as "installed". There is room for discussion here, but I believe that this infrastructure could work.
Notice that, so far, I am the only contributor. Jay's routines will need his intervention to get there :)
