i have modified the trigger to be like this

CREATE TRIGGER change_capital BEFORE UPDATE ON country
FOR each ROW
set anciennecap = old.Capital;
end|

but now it tells me this

ERROR 1193 (HY000): Unknown system variable 'anciennecap'

Can i do set anciennecap = old.Capital;
Or do i have to do capital.anciennecap?
