Here's the history of changes in MySQL 5.0

It looks like a loooooong job to check if the functions have been added between Mysql 5.0.0 and 5.0.77

If you look in the 5.0 manual proper, and find the function(s) that interest you, they are usually marked with the version number where they were introduced/changed.
