Large tables in MS Access, MySQL a good choice?

Hi,
I have a large Access Database that has some tables that have some very large tables that are loaded with records. I used to have tables stored on SQL Server that someone setup for me a while back. Then I used the linked table in Access that tied into the SQL Server. My question is. Since I don't have the SQL Server anymore, and don't have any money. IS their another option?
I don't know too much about these things.
