Newbie needs lots of help

I have created a database and table in cpanel but don't know where to go from there. The simplest thing is to tell you what I want to achieve.

The database table only has one column for the name of pedigree dogs.

I need to know how to enter the dogs names into the database from an html editor.

I need to link each dogs name to a webpage on the website.

I need to have a search boxx for people to search for a dogs name in order to view it's pedigree.

As pedigree dogs usually have a kennel prefix, the search box needs to have a alphabetical choice of dogs. (i.e Search for word Reichmeister and have the choice of Reichmeister Anfang, Reichmeister Gabe etc.)

Is the above possible for me, a newbie dummie?
