Re: ERROR 1045 (28000) Access denied for user
Nobody has any suggestions? Looking through the forums almost all the same errors are for root@localhost. I have no problem logging in on the server for all users and no users are able to login remotely from lan. The thing that stands out to me is from wireshark after the handshake there are two entries:
1) Caching_sha2_password perform_full_authententication. This is the password plugin I have selected and the default.
2) Caching_sha2_password unknown. I do not understand what is unknown. I have verified that the plugin is loaded.
Please see if this jogs anyone's memory as to a solution to try. In the meantime, back to internet research.
