passing string to database with utf8 encoding results in invalid chars

Hello All,

My database has default charset utf8, my connection string is:

"Database=<database>; Data Source=localhost;UserId=<user>; Password=<pwd>; CharSet=utf8"

When I insert a string with 'รค' it results in an invallid character. Can someone help me? Something goes wrong when I insert these kind of characters.
