Chinese Characters Display Issue

Hi,

I have MySQL 4.1.14-nt installed on Windows XP.

Entered Chinese Character using PhpMyAdmin interface. The Chinese Characters show up ok in the phpmyadmin interface. However, does not show in the resulting web site. I can only see '??' for 2 chinese characters.

However, if I use Unicode 主 for example, the Chinese characters are then displayed on the web site properly. As you know, entering chinese characters in unicode is a pain in the neck.

Just wonder if any one can share your setting so I can just enter Big5 Chinese Character and get it displayed?
