Finnish characters go wrong in mysqldump
Hi, I am trying to export my database using phpMyAdmin export function, but it doesn't seem to work. Finnish characters go wrong. As I understang the function uses mysqldump for the exporting. In the database I have finnish characters like Ä and Ö and they are fine in the database, in the database tables I use swedish collation 'latin_1_swedish_ci'.
When I have exported the database I open the zip-file and look at the sql-file. It shows 'Ä' as 'ä'. What should I do? Where is the problem?
