Many thanks for the reply. Finally got a chance to try this out. I have been able to create the .cmd file, but upon running the .cmd file it hasn't performed the migration as I (perhaps incorrectly) hoped it would.
Am I correct in thinking that I will still need to take the .zip the .cmd file produces, move that to the target server and find a way of automating the import of the .zip into my target database and then also find a way of automating the running of the .sql I mentioned in my original post?
