Re: "out of resources" error in MySQL 6

I am using Windows XP for my coding, but I use Linux to communicate directly with the MySQL server.

There are only 53 tables (1.1 GB) total in my database, and when it fails I only have about 20 of them open.

After searching the archives, I came across this post:

...where a user was getting the same "out of resources" error because the table_cache variable was too high. However, my table_open_cache variable is only 64.
