good joke...right over my head.
I'm using IIS 4.0, and the site is on the local server. I could try 'localhost' but then if this ever changes I will have to go and update all the URL's (i don't want to have to do this)...but if i have to I will.
I've been looking at antiword for word docs but not sure i can make it work. Perhaps you can come up with something? (http://www.winfield.demon.nl/) This still doesn't help with .PDF documents.
