Re: Copying mysql and related programs to new desktop computer
Peter, a million thanks for responding. Yes, I would love to hire a MySQL 'puter person to remotely access the 'puters and make magic. I just wasn't sure of the protocol on this forum. I stopped short, in my initial query, of saying "how can I find a qualified MySQL expert" to assist in exchange for compensation. I'm leary of random internet searches for assistance that might result in getting taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge. It's kind of like finding a good car mechanic. You want references/recommendations from people you trust so that you can find a good mechanic who does reputable work at fair prices. Can you be my mechanic magic maker? If you prefer to reach me directly,
joy@joylindsey.com. Thanks again.
