Then you should put a note next to the download on your website stating that fact. Sheesh! That's totally irresponsible of mysql not to. In addition, mysql doesn't even have a means for users to report corrupt files. How come?
I tried a US mirror for the GNU tar source download, and the md5's didn't match.
You guys need to get your act together.
