documentation of bug tracing system

I would like some reference/manual on the bug system. I think it may be added as doc (or an extra link) to the website at an obvious place like:
http://bugs.mysql.com/

It could explain all fields in the bug tracking system, e.g.:
- status of a bug
(what are the possible values, what do they mean, who sets it and what happens next)
- days of status
(when is it changed, what is it used for)
- tag
(what are the possible values, what do they mean, why is it not shown in the bugs-overview, who sets it and what happens next)
