This is something I find difficult to understand-not in theory so much...but in practice.

I read https://www.artfulsoftware.com/mysqlbook/sampler/mysqled1ch01.html#Codds_12_Rules about 3NF and that and all non-key columns are mutually independent.

In the example(customers) table you provide HOW DOES CREATING a separrate address table(plus address type) solves the above issue=the depedency problem?

I do not get it...
