i do not have an answer concerning your problem, but our problem is getting the connection to start. we have a oracle 8i database and trying to connect through a dblink to mysql. could you tell us how did you set up your connection, installation methods and used components, because we are struggeling with the use of the unixodbc as mentioned in the manual or is this a componenent that we don't need. could you pleas give me some more information on your installation.
