SVN compile issues on fedora 5?
Hi,
I've been trying to compile the latest SVN release since i'm wanting to use the mysql.sock options.
When compiling from the released source (like the official builds), it compiles fine. SVN gives the following:
=============== COMPILE LOG ===================
root@navi [~/mysql-proxy/trunk]# ./autogen.sh
./autogen.sh: running `aclocal-1.9'
./autogen.sh: running `autoheader-2.59'
sh: --trace: command not found
sh: --trace: command not found
sh: configure.in: command not found
autoheader-2.59: error: AC_CONFIG_HEADERS not found in configure.in
./autogen.sh: running `automake-1.9 --add-missing --copy'
Usage: autoconf [-h] [--help] [-m dir] [--macrodir=dir]
[-l dir] [--localdir=dir] [--version] [template-file]
automake-1.9: autoconf failed with exit status: 1
./autogen.sh: running `autoconf-2.59'
configure.in:9: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:13: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_MAINTAINER_MODE
configure.in:17: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LD
configure.in:33: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_C_PROTOTYPES
configure.in:117: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DEFINE
Now type './configure ...' and 'make' to compile.
=============== END COMPILE LOG ===================
Any help would be great :)
Thanks,
~Francisco
