Re: my entire MySQL database was wiped out?

I understand. the database is still gone as of today, but I dont know how it happened. I looked at the logs for 1/25/17, nothing unusual, database starts, stops, it says Federation is off? and the IP is 0.0.0.0 well ok its localhost, should be the 128 IP I thought

but in the mysql admin page, its FULLY default like when you first get it installed. In the links to 'RECENT' my database is listed, click on that, Error #1046 No Database Selected

What seems to be the likely culprit is that the MAMP-PRO expired, this is what I was starting and using, now its just MAMP regular.

seems like I have to PURCHASE the mamp-PRO in order to get my database back, but it seems like there has to be some setting to map to where the db is at?
