I also want to add a +1 to this issue.

Exactly the same problem with schema privileges in workbench...
can safely play with privileges in console - only needs more brain power to grant.

Also causes the dreaded blue screen of death on odd view access - again console and queries run against view off the engine are fine.

Adding salt to the wound - the *last* blue screen was only minutes ago when I attempted to log a bug report with the server status screen open!

Will continue to use console only - but the other features of Workbench that do work (most of it) are a risk to my sanity when system goes bye-bye while I'm coding... taking my scripts and unsaved work with it!

Windows 10 Home (Version 10.0.15063) 64bit
All patches applied

Workbench 6.3.9 (latest build) 64bit

MySQL 5.7.18 64bit

12GB ram, i5 processor.
