Yes; this error always shows in MySQL Workbench. Sadly, these archaic forums won't let me post a picture link showing the error; but it's the error defined in the OP. It always fails on any sort of GET within the error handler, regardless of formatting, parameters, etc. As mentioned, I wonder if I'm missing some sort of configuration setting or if this is an issue with CE vs SE. Have you tried plugging the Routine code in the Workbench CE to see if you get the same problem?
