Hi Folks,

Is it possible to take mysqlbinlogs that are generated using RBL method and can it be applied to DR database? Using source prod_RBL_binlog.sql I get max_allowed_packets exceeded the limit. Whereas am importing file size of about 500MB and set the max_allowed_packets=1024M, and client also as 1024M. But I still get the same error. Is my approach is fine first of all? If not please let me know.

It works fine with SBL. Only RBL is it possible to do this way?

mysqlbinlog master_bin.0001 master_bin.0002 master_bin.0003 > /mysql1/snapshot/first_reg_bins_$time_stamp.sql

Above is the way I get prod_RBL_binlog.sql for RBL. Please suggest.
