thank you Luis, I checked all the documentation, all forums (DEV C++, this one, and several others) and the point seems very easy: install mysql c++ connector, install boost libs, link the C++ IDE with the libraries and the it should work, there are some guys om youtube that have it working using this same software, I checked every step I did but still not working, I give up mysql and windows are a bad solution, I will try another DB.
