Permanent daily error popup after installation crash

I downloaded newest MySQL installer mysql-installer-community-8.0.12.0.msi and tried to installed it on 64bit Win7.

However it crashed somehow.

When I restart the installation by double clicking on the *.msi file I always get a "MySQL Installer has topped working"

Due to other work I did not proceed with the installation.

However since this time (approx two weeks ago) I got once a day a popup reminder telling me: "Configuration file was not found. Please reinstall a MySQL Installer bundle"

Obviously some artefacts are started (in task scheduler?) which re-start automatically to complete the installation.

How do I get rid of this stuff?

All MySQL installation files and registry entries should be removed and cleaned.

How can I achieve this?

Peter
