Hi Stephane,
I believe you will not be able to do it without coding if you want the magic to happen automatically after the XLS is changed.

One solution I can think of is you may try to setup an ODBC connection and write some VBA code within Excel to push the changed data to MySQL.
Another solution would be write a program in your favorite language that monitors if the XLS file changes and when so attempt to connect to the MySQL Server you want to update the changes to, and try to push those changes.

Bear in mind this is not an easy task since there may be conflicts with the data you want to push (duplicate unique indexes or primary keys, invalid data that creates errors, etc.)... so you would have to think on some business rules to automatically deal with those conflicts.

If you want to have a user in the loop and do things manually you may play with MySQL for Excel (available as a download in the MySQL Installer) and see if it addresses your need.
