Thanks for writing in our forums.
Please direct your question to the MySQL Installer forum since that is a bug in the MySQL Installer, not in MySQL for Excel.
As a workaround go to the following page and download the stand-alone MySQL for Excel MSI.
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/windows/excel/
