32 digit GUID problem and connection string old guids=true

I have my connection managed in Workbench 6.3.

Here I have added old guids=true in the advanced tab. It is a local socket/pipe type connection.

My database has char(36) GUID entries. In some of these entries, there is a single "1" instead of the proper 32 digit GUID.

I cannot resolve the problem of errors encountered, even with this connection string.

Can anyone help? Thanks.
