Thanks for writing in our forum.
I don't quite understand your setup, you mention you downloaded the MySQL Installer for Windows, but you do not mention what you actually installed. Running the MySQL Installer does not install anything but the Installer itself.
From there, what products did you install? On a first installation the MySQL Installer offers several types of setup where it installs the MySQL Server (5.7.10 by the looks of what you downloaded) and it may install other MySQL products, it all depends on your selection.
So, did you install the MySQL Server AND the MySQL for Excel add-in?
Did these installations complete successfully?
What version of Office do you have installed on that computer?
Regarding WAMP, you can have as many MySQL Servers running on your computer as you want, but you can safely uninstall any instances that you are not using.
