Unexpected error: An item with the same key has already been added.

I'm attempting to connect to my db through Excel (which has a feature to connect to mysql databases).

I am able to connect to the db, and I see a list of tables, but when I highlight a table I get the message in the subject line of this post.

I've posted this question at an Excel site, but I also wonder if the issue has to do with the fact that my db currently has "almost" duplicate tables, such as:

AAPL_1

and

aapl_1

(I've got another thread going here on cleaning up that mess!)
