If you can consistently reproduce this error, can you please raise a bug report at https://bugs.mysql.com? Please include the steps to consistently reproduce the problem, any additional description about your environment is really helpful, also include the stack trace of the error.

It is difficult to give you a workaround without actually seeing the stack trace or without being able to reproduce the issue you describe.

MySQL Notifier does start correctly if I open it in my environment.
