I'm not sure what you're looking for.
So far, I've concluded that what I'm trying to do can't reasonably be done and scratched it from the filter.

SUM(answer) = the sum of the field answer GROUP BY SrvID.
We filter by QID and determine if the highest sum for any MX within QID is >= GivenValue.

For me this is pretty complex but writing a temp table is difficult.
