just to complete the picture...
I converted 220GB table from MyISAM getting 173GB of InnoDB table.
Another time, 5GB MyISAM table become 12GB InnoDB table.
Strange, no rule. Beware! ;-)
p.s. I was wondering about it and think that perhaps it's the result of dealing with puffed up table where many deletes were done. It seems like convertion did defragmentation at the same time. Can it be?
