The max value is not the problem. The auto-increment value is not the problem. I have tried solved my problem with a AUTO INCREMENT field, int 4 (4.294.967.296 registers. I will never reach this value). If you try with a field not AUTO INC, and you increase this value manually, will occur likewise.
