Write cache

Hi,

We're about to purchase a server for mysql. We're currently running only MyISAM tables, but we may switch to innodb tables eventually, because we're having concurrency problems.

I read that we should disable write-cache when using innodb. Is that only when using transactions or all the time? If it the cache is battery backed-up, is it ok?

Thanks,

Ugo
