:) Fair enough.

As mentioned in MSSQL there is no concerns about external index files etc so my lack of knowledge for the MySQL environment here has got me in a hole.

Question ;

The backup is from 5.6 Can I just go ahead and use that in full or fo I need to run an mysql_upgrade The reason I ask is I assumed I do need to but in trying to I get
Error occurred: Cannot setup server variables.

I then tried starting with
mysqld --skip-grant-tables

however the service does not start. Does normally though.
