It's a smallish table but 30k concurrent inserts.min is a lot. Remember, InnoDB will do one at a time, you might be looking at gap locks and deadlocks, see https://www.percona.com/blog/2014/12/17/innodbs-multi-versioning-handling-can-be-achilles-heel/.
