Dear Peter,
I am thinking of staging table idea such first the insert into goes to say my gDataTemp I have status field yes or no. So then I set status no. There after I run a trigger for every minute to check all those data in the staging table copy over to the actual table gdata and set the status as yes. Then I run another trigger to delete all those which have been copied over? Will these be a good solution? So at any time the gdatatemp will have just few thousand data whereas the actual gdata will be in million.
