I have already ALTER TABLE order by tkey to take advantage of this. I have tried passing the ordered update statements in various chunk sizes 1000 - 10000 records at a time and I don't see too much difference in speed.
I don't think I understand the chunk size suggestion. Is this different from the size of sqlscript I pass back to the server consisting of many update statements separated by ; ?
