yes, i believe it was waiting on the repair table command, because only after executing that does it start to increase load and `wa` for wait starts to increase. btw, i tried the command myisamchk cause i was using myisam tables, and it does a MUCH better job of checking and gives a progress indicator, took only a few minutes as opposed to two entire days..
