Mixing 32-bit and 64-bit Platforms?

Hello all -

I am in the middle of designing a cluster solution for my company and want to keep the cluster Management node on a seperate box from the SQL and Storage nodes. I would like to use the IA64 architecture for Storage and SQL nodes (for memory purposes), but don't see the need to spend that kind of money for the management box and would prefer to keep it at i386.

Do you forsee any problems with such a configuration? I'm assuming since all management / communication happens via IP that there shouldn't be any problem.

Thank you very much,

Michael
