Hi,

Those executables were renamed a while ago. The list of the new names is at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/MySQL_Cluster_Process_Management.html

To summarize:

ndb -> ndbd
mgmtsrvr -> ndb_mgmd

I would highly recommend using the manual instead of the seperate files, as the seperate files aren't neccesarily totally up to date (as you found out)
