Hi Ben,

I am sorry that you are facing problems with MySQL Cluster.
You have hit a bug and we are working on solving this.

If you turn of binary logging on MySQL API server problem should go away, or at least turn off automatic pruning of binary logs if you can not turn of the binary log completely.

My best help to you right now would be to look out for notes regarding this problem in our next release description.
Link to release notes: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql-cluster/7.2/en/mysql-cluster-news-5-5-30-ndb-7-2-13.html

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,
Ted
