The scanIndex_abortState printout was added to assist in finding some bug
in the SPJ code. So if you get it is an indication of something that went
wrong. From what I see in the code it seems related to a drop table.
So it could be a bug, from what I see the consequence is not so harmful,
the query fails, but the cluster remains operational.
If you can reproduce it, it would be good if you can file a bug report in
how to reproduce it. I presume you have to issue DROP TABLE from one
connection and issue a complex query using the table from another
connection.
