Re: Can't connect to local MySQL server

netstat reports my socket as "/tmp/mysql.sock" and phpmyadmin throws an error #2002 = Can't connect to local MySQL through socket 'var/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

Tell me if I'm wrong, MySQL is looking to connect through var/mysql/mysql.sock but my actual socket is /tmp/mysql.sock? How do I fix. I see nothing in Webmin for changing this configuration in the MySQL configuration options except for a possible option that says "Path to MySQL database directory" (which is currently set to "usr/local/mysql/var")...

Another thing. Where is /tmp/?

Thanks for the help.

Jay
